Airtricity is a world leading renewable energy company, developing and operating wind farms in Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales and the United States. As an integrated utility, the company is both a generator and supplier of green electricity and currently supplies green electricity to over 50,000 commercial customers in Ireland.

Airtricity was founded in 1999 and now employs over 200 people across its offices in Ireland, Scotland, England and the United States.

Through partnerships with leading international companies such as GE, ACCIONA Energía (formerly EHN) and Flour, Airtricity is taking a leading role in the development of offshore wind farms.

Worldwide electricity consumption continues to increase. Generating electricity using wind turbines is the fastest growing method of electricity generation.
