Eddie O’ConnorChief Executive OfficerIn 1997 Eddie founded Airtricity and has been Chief Executive Officer since. From 1987 to 1996 Eddie was Chief Executive Officer of Bord na Mona and prior to that he worked with the ESB. He qualified as a Chemical Engineer in 1970 and also has a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering and a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the International Management Centres. He is currently the secretary of the European Wind Energy Association. |
Mark EnnisChief Executive Officer, Supply BusinessMark was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Airtricity Supply in 2002. Prior to joining Airtricity, Mark was Chief Executive of Boxmore International Plc. He served as Vice Chairman and Chairman of CBI Northern Ireland from 1999 to 2002. Mark is an Economics Graduate from Queen’s University of Belfast and also obtained an MBA from the Open University |
Senan MurphyChief Financial OfficerSenan was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Airtricity in April 2003. Prior to joining Airtricity, Senan worked internationally with GE Capital for eight years, where he held a variety of leadership roles in finance. Paul DowlingChief Operating OfficerPaul joined Airtricity as Chief Operating Officer in 1997. From 1990 to 1997 Paul worked with Bord na Mona on their wind energy projects. He qualified as a Chartered Engineer and also has an MBA from Trinity College Dublin. |
Louis FitzGeraldCorporate Development DirectorLouis was one of the founding directors of Airtricity in 1997. Louis set up his own consultancy business in 1992, prior to that he was CFO of a private asset management company for a number of years. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1971. |
Jim BarryNon-Executive ChairmanJim was appointed Chief Executive of NTR plc in June 2000 having previously served as Assistant Chief Executive and General Manager, Development. Prior to joining NTR in 1998, Jim worked with Bain and Company, a leading global consulting firm, and in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley International. Jim has a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Cork and a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. |
Mark DawsonNon-Executive DirectorMark was appointed Non-Executive Director in 2003. He is Director of Wealth Management at NCB Stockbrokers and was formerly Managing Director of NCB Moneybrokers. Mark has a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin. |
John LaveryCompany SecretaryJohn was one of the founders of Airtricity in 1997. Having qualified as a solicitor, he opened his own practice in 1980. John specialises in start-up companies and deregulating industries. |
Michael WalshNon-Executive DirectorMichael was appointed Group Finance Director of NTR plc in February 2003. He joined NTR from Musgrave Group plc, where he served as Group Finance Director and Company Secretary for ten years. Michael is a Chartered Accountant who has worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in both Dublin and London |
Michael KingNon-Executive DirectorMichael was appointed Chief Operations Officer of NTR plc in June 2000. He joined NTR from the Quinn Group, where he served as Group Operations Director. Prior to that, he worked with Aer Lingus. Michael qualified as a Civil Engineer, has a Masters degree in Hydrological Engineering from University College Galway and a Masters in Business Administration from Dublin City University. |
Joe MangionNon-Executive DirectorJoe is a Managing Director at Ecofin where he heads the Strategic Investments Group. He has 10 years of operational and financial experience in the utilities sector and has executed in excess of $10billion worth of transactions, both as an independent consultant and as Group Finance Director of Veolia UK where he worked for 8 years until November 2003. Joe is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from Cranfield (UK). |
Bernard LambilliotteNon-Executive DirectorBernard Lambilliotte is senior managing director and co-founder of Ecofin. Prior to co-founding Ecofin in 1992, Bernard Lambilliotte was an investment manager with Pictet & Cie in Geneva and London From 1985 to 1990, he was an investment banker with Swiss Bank Corporation in London and Paris. He graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles with a degree in engineering and from INSEAD, Fontainbleau, with an M.B.A. degree. |
