Billing Assistant

Position: Permanent role

Airtricity is seeking to recruit a Billing Assistant reporting into Registration and Billing team leader.

Core tasks within the role:

  • Invoice validation – analyse and actions invoice exceptions
  • Review stop billing queue – analyse and action on all reads that are prevented from passing through validation rules
  • Update tariffs and discounts where applicable
  • Assist in group reports for multi-site customers
  • Attendance at weekly team meetings to   contribute and share knowledge with the billing team
  • Working closely within all the supply team to ensure processes are followed correctly, monitoring of activity and implementation of new procedures
  • Working as a team member within the department and company as a whole to assist in the achievement of overall department and company objectives.

Key skills and attributes required for the role:

  • Good analytical skills and ability to make decisions based on facts presented on system
  • Strong customer focus to ensure that all billing is correct and accurate
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Good inter-personal skills with problem solving ability.
  • An open and flexible work-style and an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Ability to respond to challenges in an innovative and persistent manner.

Candidates should have a minimum of at least 2 years billing experience.
