Energy Management Centre Operator/ Analyst

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for performance tracking on all operating wind farms- e.g. reporting, checking availability, monitoring alarms, comparing EMC figures with turbine supplier figures for sites
  2. Develop and improve analysis capabilities for the operations team
  3. Provide input on maintenance planning for sites
  4. Provide back-up support for the field operations team
  5. Respond to day-to-day business data and analysis requirements from EMC- e.g. provision of historic data to other departments where needed, generation/ modification of pre-configured reports and trends, setting/ changing user access levels to the EMC
  6. Interface to the trading team on maintenance issues
  7. Monitoring/tracking of EMC system snags/ issues
  8. Implementing system improvement projects- e.g. incorporating alarm-specific help text into HMI, wind farm commissioning information, making changes to HMI screens as needed
  9. Organise and carry out in-house training as needed on EMC

Qualification/ Experience/ Characteristics

Required

Technical Qualification

At least 3 years work experience in a related role

Computer Skills- Database manipulation, MS Office applications and programming skills including Visual Basic programming, Structured Text and SQL.
