Construction Project Manager
Report to: Construction Manager
Summary
Airtricity is seeking to appoint a project manager for its windfarm construction program. The person appointed will be responsible for a number of Airtricity based wind farms in the (North West) United States.
The person will be highly experienced in the Construction Industry having lead multi-million dollar projects from inception to completion and final takeover. In addition the candidate will have a formal qualification in Construction and have a flair for people management, communication and delegation as well as an overall gift of being able to get a job done to the highest possible standards.
Key Tasks
- Interface with Corporate Finance, Planning Department and Wind Resource in the development and pre-construction activities
- Interface with local counties and towns in relation to required consents
- Interface with landowners on construction activities and access issues
- Monitoring construction activities
- Coaching team and development of package approach to construction activities
Education and experience
- Degree qualified with a minimum of 10 years experience working on large-scale construction sites.
- Superb project management skills and highly organised approach to work
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Be comfortable presenting to senior management at board level and capable of managing internal and external resources with ease.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility is a key requirement
