Development Executives (x2)


Since establishing a presence in the United States, Airtricity has built up a portfolio of development interests in both green field and part developed assets.  The company now seeks to put in place a number of development executives to work with the existing development teams.

The core responsibilities of the role will involve:

  • Identification, assessment and selection of potential wind energy sites 
  • Successful delivery of wind farm options and lease from landowner
  • Selection of the most suitable contractors/consultants for the progression of the project
  • Management and supervision of such personnel throughout the EIA/planning process
  • Interaction with all the key people responsible for permitting, both locally and state level 
  • Interaction with the Airtricity Construction and Engineering team

The Candidate

  • Good project management skills and highly organised approach to work
  • The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • The candidate should be comfortable presenting to senior management and should be capable of managing internal and external resources with ease. 
  • Excellent knowledge of the permitting process for major infrastructure development  both State and Federal level.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in multiple locations against tight timeframes and budgets.
