A recent staff survey highlighted that 80% of employees at Airtricity drive to work, each driving an average of 10kms per day. The impact on the environment is as follows:

Annual company CO* emissions : 2298 kg
Nitrous oxides : 174 kg
Particulate matter : 4.13 kg
Sulphur dioxide : 7.05 kg

We encourage our employees to take an environmentally friendly and healthy approach to transport.

  • We encourage employees to leave the car at home where possible and to take the healthy option of walking or cycling.
  • We offer our employees the option of using public transport by supplying Tax Saver Commuter Tickets on a monthly basis.
