Wind Farm Open Days

In 2005, Airtricity, in association with the BWEA, successfully launched the Wind Farm Open Day initiative in Northern Ireland and Scotland. The objective of the open day was to let local people see how a wind farm operates, how renewable energy can be sourced in a way which is not harmful to the environment and to offer people a chance to ask questions of our engineers – and of course to have a bit of fun at the same time.
