Operating Wind Farms

Airtricity currently has six onshore wind farms in operation in the Republic of Ireland. Culliagh wind farm in Co. Donegal has been generating green electricity since November 2000.  Corneen wind farm in Co. Cavan has been in operation since August 2001.  Kingsmountain, Co. Sligo has been producing green electricity since May 2003.

The most recent onshore wind farms Airtricity have developed in the Republic of Ireland are Gartnaneane, Co Cavan (commissioned in December 2004), Meentycat, Co Donegal (commissioned in January 2005) and Coomatallin, Co. Cork (commissioned in March 2005)

In total Airtricity's onshore wind farm capacity in the Republic of Ireland currently stands at 133MW.
