Airtricity schools programme

In 2005, Airtricity launched its Schools Programme, the purpose of which is to educate primary school children on important environmental issues such as Climate Change and Global Warming. The central element of the programme is a highly interactive and entertaining website called the Greenzone (http://greenzone.airtricity.com) which was developed in consultation with both teachers and pupils.

Airtricity is committed to the ongoing education of children on environmental issues and has recently built on the schools programme by implementing an ambassador programme where Airtricity employees visit primary schools and give a presentation on the causes and effects of global warming and the benefits of using renewable energy.
