Bagot's Park

Airtricity submitted plans to build a wind farm at Bagot's Park, East Staffordshire of up to 18.4MW in October 2007.  The intended wind farm will comprise of 8 turbines with an installed capacity of up to 2.3MW each.  

Airtricity considers the community to be a key foundation for successful development.  The company will be looking to share the success of Bagot's Park wind farm through a range of initiatives for the benefit of the local community including regional and local construction contracts.  A community fund will be established of about £18,000 per year for the benefit of local community projects and initiatives, amounting to about £450,000 over the life of the wind farm.  The wind farm will also act as an educational resource for local schools and communities in the vicinity.
