The Airtricity Community Fund is intended to support community projects in the locality of our wind farms. The purpose of the fund is to further strengthen the benefits that wind farm development brings to local communities. The fund is distributed on an annual basis for the lifetime of the wind farm, starting one year after the wind farm starts producing electricity. A new application process will be rolled out each year. The quantity of the fund may vary slightly year on year depending on the electricity produced by the wind farm. The fund will be used to support local community activities with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
Applications will be evaluated on a competitive basis with a strong preference on energy efficiency and sustainability project and will be adjudicated based on how the project best fits with the Airtricity company values as explained below:

To submit an application you must fill out the application form and submit within the timeframe specified by the individual wind farm community fund.
