We calculate your monthly payments using a number of factors:

• Your current usage
• Your previous usage
• Time of year
• Your rates

If we calculated the cost of your year’s electricity to be €1,200, your fixed monthly payments would be €100. We will send you a letter stating the amount of your monthly payments and also the date your direct debits will be processed.

Reviewing your monthly payments

We review your payments four times a year, by submitting regular meter readings you can help make sure your monthly payments are in line with your usage.

If you start using more electricity (for example, if you build an extension to your house), you should contact our Customer Service team on 1850 81 22 20 to see if your monthly payments need to be increased.
