New customers
You should get your SmarterEnergy card shortly after receiving your Welcome Letter. This letter should arrive within 4 weeks of signing up. If you haven’t received your card within 6 weeks of joining us, please complete this form with your name and Airtricity account number.
Current customers
If you already have a home energy account with us, you should have received a SmarterEnergy card in the post.
Getting a second card or replacing a lost card
You can request a SmarterEnergy card by completing this form with the name and Airtricity account number for the card. We’ll send out your new card within 2 to 3 weeks.
Making payments in the interim
While you're waiting for your card to arrive, you can still pay your bill or make top-up payments to your account through your post office and selected PostPoint outlets using your bar-coded Airtricity bill. You can also make payments online or by using any of our other payment methods.
Budget Plan customers
If you’re an Airtricity Budget Plan customer, you will not receive a SmarterEnergy card. As your monthly payments are fixed, you cannot make additional top-up payments.
