Wouldn't it be nice if your bill was already half paid?
Instead of paying your Airtricity bill in one lump sum, you can now spread your costs by making smaller, regular payments using any of our payment options. You'll still get our great Direct Debit discount and have the freedom to pay what you can when you can. You simply pay the balance by Direct Debit.
Pay in your local post office
If you need an additional card for a joint account holder or a replacement SmarterEnergy Card, simply email complete this form. Please quote the account holder name and Airtricity account number.

Payment options:

- At selected PostPoint: Where you see the PostPoint signs.
- By Laser or Credit Card online or call our Customer Service team on 1850 40 40 70.
- BillPay.ie
- Through your bank, at your branch, phone banking or online.
- By Standing Order, you can set up a weekly, fortnightly or monthly standing order to pay a regular amount off your bill.
- At selected Credit Unions.
- By Cheque.
Notes
- Please use your unique Airtricity Account Number as your bank reference.
- For Visa Debit / Credit card and Mastercard transactions, a payment processing fee of €5 (inclusive of VAT) applies.
- For payments through your bank, please quote the following Airtricity bank details: Account name: Airtricity Ltd. Sort code: 90-10-28, Bank of Ireland Account Number: 29724029
- If you do not choose to pay by Direct Debit, you will be required to pay a security deposit of €300.
- To switch to Direct Debit, call one of our Customer Service team on 1850 40 40 70.
- Please do not send cash payments in the post.
- Postal address for cheque payments: Airtricity, Accounts Receivable, Airtricity House, Ravenscourt Office Park, Sandyford, Dublin 18. Please quote your Airtricity account number on the back of your cheque.
- Visa Credit / Debit & Mastercard transactions, payment processing fee of €5 (inc of VAT) applies
- Please remember: if you make a payment up to 5 working days before your next bill is due to be paid, your Direct Debit amount will be reduced. After that we'll carry the payment over to your next bill, so you will have less to pay next time.
Having trouble with your payments?
If you think you're going to have a problem paying the outstanding balance on your bill, you can talk to us in confidence on 1850 40 40 70. Delaying and allowing arrears to build up will only make the problem worse. We're here to help and we'll work with you to agree a plan for making your payments.
