1999
* Partnered with NTR (51% equity in the company) and formed Eirtricity Holdings Limited

2000
* First wind farm commissioned and first customer signed
* Scottish development commenced

2001
* Completed €100M contract to purchase hydro-power from Scotland
* NI development commenced

2002
* Company's name changes to Airtricity Holdings Limited
* Granted foreshore lease for 520MW wind park on the Arklow Bank, Co. Wicklow
* Raised €15M in private equity placement

2003
* First Scottish wind farm commissioned
* First offshore wind farm constructed through a co-development agreement with GE Energy
* Granted 500MW offshore lease in the UK
* US development commenced

2004
* Commenced construction of first wind farm in NI
* First planning permission granted in the US
* European Entrepreneurial Developer and Renewable Supplier of the Year
* Raised €88M in private equity placement and €15M in corporate debt

2005
* Ireland's largest wind farm (72MW) commissioned at Meentycat, Co. Donegal
* Awarded 'Best Company to work for' award in Ireland in the 100-250 employee category
* Commenced construction of first wind farm in the US
* Raised €140M in corporate debt
* Introduction of Schools programme, the Greenzone.

2006/2007
* Awarded overall 'Best Company to work for in Ireland'
* Raised €310M in equity and €151 in corporate debt
* First Airtricity wind farm commissioned in Texas, US (124MW)
* Entered Portuguese and Canadian markets
* Received consent for 500MW offshore wind farm in the UK
* Secured 500MW of Siemens turbines for Greater Gabbard wind farm
* 250MW of GE turbines secured worth approximately €330M
* Ernst & Young Euromoney Entrepreneurial Developer of the Year
* Entered into agreement to sell North American business unit to E.ON AG
* Business & Finance Awards 2007 - Airtricity win Company of the Year
