Tournafulla
The 18 turbine, 27MW wind farm in Tournafulla Co. Limerick is fully operational.
Phase 1 consisted of a 5 turbine (7.5MW) wind farm which will provide power for over 4,500 homes, mitigating around 20,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide per annum.
Phase 2 consisted of a further 13 turbines (19.5MW) which will provide power for over 10,000 homes, mitigating around 44,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide per annum.
