Operating wind farms

Airtricity established its Scottish arm in December 2000 to focus on the development, construction and operation of wind farms in Scotland.

Airtricity Scotland has four operating wind farms in Scotland; Ardrossan (24MW), Braes of Doune(72MW), Minsca (36.8MW) and Dalswinton (30MW).  Airtricity Scotland has 10.5MW in construction at present and a substantial development pipeline. 

The renewable energy incentive scheme that operates in the United Kingdom makes this market attractive for renewable electricity development.
