How to read your meter

There are three types of meters.

Type 1

Write down the numbers on the dial from left to right. Include any zeros at the start of the reading but not any numbers in red.

The reading on this meter is 01234.

The red dial can be ignored.

Type 2

Write down the number from each dial that the arrow is pointing to, from left to right. Include any zeros at the start of the reading, but not any numbers in the red dial.

The reading on this meter is 01234.

The red dial can be ignored.

If the arrow is pointing between 2 numbers, use the previous number eg: number 1 & 2= 1

Type 3

Write down the numbers on the screen from left to right. Include any zeros at the start of the reading.

The reading on this meter is 01234.

Press the blue button on the meter to obtain your reading, the reading will show "KWH" beside it. Customers on a Nightsaver / Weekender tariff, please provide the "R1" and "R2" readings.

Note: some Nightsaver customers may also have a "R3" reading.
