Why are NIE still reading my meter if I'm an Airtricity customer?

NIE Transmission & Distribution will always read your meter, no matter which supplier you are with.

This is because the electricity network is owned and operated separately to where the supply comes from. So we are your electricity supplier, but NIE Transmission & Distribution will always be responsible for installing, maintaining and reading your meter(s).
