You can’t transfer the Airtricity account for your rental property into your tenants’ names, for data protection reasons.
You'll need to:
- Close the current account (whether it's in your name or the previous tenants)
- Provide the contact details for the new tenants
- Ask your new tenants to contact us
If you close the account and the new tenants do not contact us your property may be disconnected, so it's important to let them know as well.
